You will be joining AcademicSoftware, the team that specialises in software for education. Academic Software offers an online software portal with over 1000 software titles for secondary and higher education, including licences (such as Microsoft and Adobe).

We are currently looking for a Copywriter to support our growth and strengthen our international and dynamic team.

What does your day as a Copywriter look like?

As a copywriter your day-to-day tasks will be quite varied. You will be responsible for creating internal writing guidelines and guard over our tone of voice, to offer our audience a smooth and consistent reading experience across all of our channels.

You will write texts for different channels and materials, ensuring they are in line with our style guide and the quality expectations of our users, edit guest posts for tone, relevance, structure, and SEO, rewrite existing texts and coordinate the necessary translations.

You will transform tough-to-read technical material into content that flows naturally and is accessible to a broad audience, develop case studies, write scientific content (e.g., white paper), write blog posts for our monthly newsletter about the latest EdTech news and manage the content resulting from interviews with new and existing clients.

Part of your tasks will be to establish partnerships with companies, publishers and bloggers, to introduce new traffic to our website, and develop voice-over recording and scripting for video content.

You will be part of Signpost Group's Marketing team and work closely with 6 other marketers.

You report directly to our Marketing Manager.

As a Copywriter you possess the following skills:

• You’re a native English speaker with a love for the written word

• You have excellent writing skills

• You’re interested in technology, online services and software

• Experience with EdTech is a big plus

• MS Office holds no secrets for you

• You have an eye for detail, are not afraid of deadlines, and possess strong organisational skills

• You enjoy the freedom of managing your own time and can therefore work independently, but you’re also a team player

• You have a higher education degree in communications, English or a journalism related discipline
