Ilona IT is a leading player in educational technology and part of the fast-growing European ecosystem of Academic Software – Signpost. To support our expansion in Finland, we are looking for a visionary and entrepreneurial Country Manager.

As the person ultimately responsible for the Finnish market, you will lead our commercial strategy, build strong relationships within the education sector, and drive sustainable growth. You combine strategic insight with hands-on execution and understand what it takes to build trust and deliver results in the Finnish context.

Your Mission

• Build market leadership in Finland: Develop and implement a growth strategy that strengthens our position as an innovative partner in the education sector.

• Lead commercial operations: Manage the local team with a focus on results, collaboration, and autonomy. You encourage ownership and shared leadership.

• Strengthen relationships in education: Leverage your network and understanding of the Finnish education system to build long-term partnerships with schools, institutions, and public stakeholders.

• Drive change and growth: Ensure an agile organization that responds to market opportunities. You know how to manage change in a culture that values stability and long-term thinking.

• Be the face of Ilona IT in Finland: Represent our vision for digital learning as a thought leader and trusted partner.

What You Bring

• Proven leadership experience at senior/commercial level in an international or education-related context.

• Deep understanding of the Finnish market, culture, and decision-making processes — preferably with experience in the public or educational sector.

• Commercial acumen combined with strong relational intelligence.

• Experience in organizational development and change management.

• Fluency in Finnish and English (Swedish is a plus).
