This month's star is Cedric Mbuyu

Every month we will introduce you to a colleague. This month's star is Cedric Mbuyu. He joined Signpost as Key Account Manager Public & Health Care (OVZO) in January 2024.

What exactly do you do at Signpost?
Cedric: I’m Cedric Mbuyu, Key Account Manager Public & Health Care (OVZO) at Academic Hardware.

I'm dedicated to engaging new clients and sparking initiatives in the healthcare and public sectors. Whether I'm discussing strategy with (IT) managers or general managers, my goal is to tailor solutions that meet each institution's specific needs.

What does your day look like?
Cedric: My days are filled with following up on (internal) leads, reaching out to prospects, and scheduling as many meetings as possible to spread our name far and wide. I work closely with our marketing team to develop custom webshops for healthcare facilities, sharing my knowledge to precisely address their requirements—from staff needs to IT support.

How did you end up working at Signpost?
Cedric: I've always been in sales and was searching for a new challenge when I came across this opportunity at Signpost. The chance to create extra value (indirectly) and build something from scratch really excited me, and I knew it was the perfect fit.

What can people contact you for?
Cedric: With a hands-on mentality, I’m here to provide insights into the needs, specifiec devices, and specifications within various sectors including but not limited to healthcare institutions, hospitals, nursing homes, rehab centers, detox clinics, police departments, and municipal governments.
Looking for some camaraderie after work? I’m also always ready for a beer or a paddle match.

What are your interests besides work?
Cedric:I'm a life enthusiast who loves to eat and drink well. I’m passionate about football, supporting our local team in Zaffelaere's second division. Although my competitive paddle playing has taken a backseat to football, I still enjoy a casual game now and then. I always welcome my colleagues to come cheer with me at the games or join me for a beer afterward. It’s a great way to unwind and connect outside of work!
